Types of Coaching
Group Coaching is an opportunity to meet with other parents in a group and discuss parenting issues with them. It is often a brainstorming session to help with your tween or teen. Parents who are in the same boat as you are come to the group with their perspectives and questions. Everyone benefits from the collective wisdom of the group. The group is typically held on Zoom on a regular basis.
Individual Coaching happens one-on-one with the Parent Coach. Intense individual attention is given, and the client has access to the coach on a daily basis. The coach teaches the parent the skills needed to be successful in parenting their tween and teen and helps problem-solve the unique issues faced by those tweens, teens, parents, and family. Typically, parents and coaches meet once a week with communication in between using Facebook Messenger and email with an occasional phone call. The weekly meetings are held on Zoom, and all parents involved are welcome to attend.
